White Beach is one of Santorini’s best-kept secrets — a sheltered cove of pale whitish-grey pebbles framed by towering volcanic cliffs and lapped by some of the clearest, most inviting water on the island. Located just a short sail from Red Beach near the ancient site of Akrotiri, it can only be reached by boat.
The beach takes its name from the light-coloured rock of the surrounding cliffs, which creates a striking contrast to the deep blue-green of the Aegean. It is far less crowded than Red Beach, offering a more peaceful and private atmosphere — perfect for swimming and relaxing in the shadow of the dramatic caldera walls.
