Say your vows against the most breathtaking backdrop in the world — the Santorini caldera at sunset.
A yacht wedding in Santorini is one of the most extraordinary ways to celebrate the beginning of married life. With the caldera’s ancient volcanic cliffs rising dramatically on all sides, the iconic white villages of Oia glowing above, and the deep Aegean stretching to the horizon, there is no setting quite like this on earth.
Our private catamaran accommodates up to 10 guests for an intimate ceremony and celebration on the water. The vessel can be decorated to your preferences, and we work with local photographers, celebrants, and florists to help arrange the elements of your day. Whether you are envisioning a simple exchange of vows at sunset or a more elaborate celebration, we will help you realise it.
The cruise departs in the afternoon from Vlychada Marina and sails toward the caldera as the light turns golden. A full champagne dinner is served on deck as you celebrate with your closest family and friends, surrounded by one of the most famous views in the world. As the sun descends toward the horizon over the ancient island of Thirasia, Santorini will provide the most extraordinary backdrop for photographs of your wedding day.
We are a family business and this is our home. We understand how much a wedding day means, and every member of our crew takes genuine pride in ensuring that yours is perfect in every detail. Contact us to discuss your vision and we will create a personalised proposal for your day.
3:00 PM — Welcome Aboard. Your guests are transferred from their hotels to Vlychada Marina, where the decorated catamaran and crew are waiting. Champagne is served as everyone settles on deck.
3:30 PM — Setting Sail. Your catamaran departs along the southern coastline, giving guests time to settle in and take in the extraordinary scenery of Santorini’s volcanic coast from the water.
5:00 PM — The Ceremony. As the catamaran anchors in a calm, private stretch of the caldera, your celebrant leads the ceremony on deck. The ancient caldera walls, the Aegean horizon, and the golden light of the late afternoon sun frame the moment.
5:30 PM — Celebration Dinner. After the vows, the crew serves a full champagne dinner on deck — fresh BBQ, Mediterranean dishes, canapés, and Santorini wine — as you celebrate with your closest family and friends.
7:30 PM — Sunset. As the sun descends toward the horizon, the caldera is lit in the extraordinary golden light that makes Santorini famous. Your photographer captures the moments as your wedding party watches in awe.
~8:00 PM — Return. Your private transfers bring everyone back to their hotels, ready for the rest of the wedding celebrations on the island.
* Departure and return times may vary depending on the sunset time. Anchor locations may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
A catamaran offers something that no venue on land can provide: complete privacy on the water, with the entire island of Santorini as your backdrop. There are no other diners at nearby tables, no strangers in the background of your photos, no noise from other events. Just you, your guests, your crew, and the caldera. Santorini’s yacht weddings have become increasingly popular because they combine the island’s iconic beauty with an intimacy and exclusivity that is impossible to find on land. If you are planning a destination wedding and want something truly unique, this is it.
We work with local celebrants who can perform symbolic ceremonies on board. For a legally binding Greek ceremony, you will need to arrange this separately with a local officiant or municipality. We can provide recommendations and contacts for local celebrant services if needed.
Our standard package accommodates up to 10 guests. If your group is larger, please contact us to discuss options. We may be able to arrange a larger vessel or customise the package for your specific group size.
Yes. We are happy to accommodate dietary requirements and special requests. If you would like a specific menu or a wedding cake on board, please discuss this with us when you enquire and we will do our best to arrange it.
May to October is the sailing season. June, September, and early October offer warm weather with slightly fewer tourists than the peak July–August period. Sunset times are longest in June, making the evening feel particularly magical. We recommend booking well in advance for summer dates.
Yes. We can recommend local Santorini wedding photographers and videographers who are experienced shooting on water. Please mention this when you enquire and we will provide contacts and pricing.
